Another prompt from
sweetvirago. This time it was MisFic, possibly involving Pizzazz/Clash. So, it's sort of, kind of what you asked for :)
TITLE: Choices
AUTHOR: Angie
FEEDBACK: scotangelina@yahoo.com
DISTRIBUTION: Feel free to take this, just let me know where it's gone.
FANDOM: Jem and the Holograms
PAIRING: Pizzazz/Clash, Pizzazz/Roxy
SUMMARY: Stormer is sure the Holograms don't have to deal with this kind of problem.
RATING: R
DISCLAIMER: They belong to Christy Marx.
WORD COUNT: 467
Stormer flicks through the channels, listlessly. Every station has some new ‘Jem’ exclusive or video or interview. She sighs dejectedly. Not one station had mentioned the Misfits. Just as she is about to get really maudlin, Clash enters the living-room and flops down in a seat next to her.
“Whatcha watching?”
Stormer switches the TV off.
“Nothing. Everything’s about Jem.”
Clash shakes her head.
“I don’t understand why you guys don’t get more coverage. You’re way better than those idiots.”
“Yeah, but those idiots don’t trash studios and swear during live interviews.” Stormer says, under her breath.
She turns to look at Clash. She is wearing a very short, silky dressing gown and very little else.
“Why’re you down here? I thought you were…with Pizzazz.” Stormer can’t bring herself to use any of those terms the others used for sex, her lips won’t form the words.
“I was. But then Roxy walked in and started yelling the place down so I thought I should get outta there while I still could.”
Stormer watches the girl closely. Her eyes are downcast and she fiddles with the edge of her dressing-gown.
“Sweetie, why do you do it?” Stormer asks gently. “You know she only uses you to make Roxy jealous when they’ve had a fight.”
Clash shrugs one shoulder, still looking down.
“Yeah, I know.” She looks up at Stormer, a watery smile trying to break through. “But she still picked me, right? I mean, she could use anybody to make Roxy jealous…but she calls me.”
Part of Stormer wants to scream at the girl. To tell her that she is convenient and easy and unlikely to make waves. She wants to drag Clash out of the room and up the stairs to show her that while Roxy and Pizzazz may fight spectacularly, they make up in the same fashion. Another part of her wants to hug Clash, to tell her that Pizzazz did choose her and that she is special. Because she has a feeling that few people ever have told her that. She settles for the easy option.
“Yeah, I suppose she does.”
The door bursts open and Jetta barges in.
“’Ow’s a girl meant to get any bloody sleep round this gaff? Can’t ‘ear meself think up there!”
She grabs the remote from Stormer and throws herself onto the couch, turning the TV on.
“They still fighting?” Clashes voice holds a modicum of hope.
“Fighting? Shagging more like. All that buggering screaming Pizzazz does in bed, don’t know ‘ow Roxy ain’t deafened by now.”
Stormer glances at Clash. Her head is down but Stormer is sure she sees a tear running down her cheek.
Jem’s face looms into view on the screen. Stormer sighs. She’s sure that the Holograms don’t have these problems to deal with.

And of course Pizzazz is a screamer...could she be anything but?
Glad you liked this. I had intended it to be more Clash/Pizzazz, but this is what wanted to be written.

I feel so sorry for Clash and Jem getting all the coverage is a mystery that I have never been able to understand.

I feel so sorry for Clash - Me too. But it's Stormer I really feel sorry for, she has to put up with everyone's shit.
Jem getting all the coverage is a mystery that I have never been able to understand - Me neither, I always thought the Misfits were better. But I suppose it was Jem's show.

Date: 2006-03-29 09:32 pm (UTC)I think I might be 'borrowing' your Jayne's view of Zoe and Wash and expanding it a bit. I will credit you, of course.
Also, I think it's going to be slashy.

Date: 2006-04-02 06:36 pm (UTC)Since writing to ask for advice and help, the Jayne fic has changed quite a bit. It's turned serious(!) and is now more of Jayne's views on the crew, not necessarily what disturbs him about them. Simon's diary is still in it, but alas, Book's hair isn't.
I might use your suggestion for Kaylee though. The fic is already rather slashy in that it has Simon/Mal, and is probably going to end up Mal/Jayne. But I might try to sneak some Kaylee/Inara in there too. There will be Mal/Inara undertones to it all.
Anyway, it won't be finished today but I hope to have it out midweek.
