A/N: This is the final 'Deadly Sin' challenge. I had thought that the lust drabble might turn out more, well, lusty than this. But this is the one that wanted to be written, no matter how I tried to turn it around. The other six sins can be found here if you're interested.

Some folks might not like the idea of datin’ a companion. Everywhere she goes, people want her. Her clients, they jus’ get what they’re payin’ for. She’s real good at her job, she gives folks value for their credits. Maybe they even think she feels somethin’ for them, somethin’ deeper. She don’t.

Me, I’m much the same as the rest of ‘em. I want her just as bad. Difference is, I know she wants me right back, just as much. I’m hers, she’s mine. An’ there ain’t a single other person in the verse who can say that about her.

I love the mater-of-factness about this - I believe Kaylee would be this open and to the point about the sex Inara is having with other people (just so long as she is the one that Inara comes back to).

So this would be in the verse where Inara doesn't belong with Mal?????? - Yes. Those are two completely different verses. There is a verse called canon in which Mal and Inara are so meant to be. Then there is a li'l verse called slash where Inara is totally Kaylee's.

I believe Kaylee would be this open and to the point about the sex Inara is having with other people - I think Kaylee would treat it as a job like any other. And Inara's so clearly smitten with Kaylee that trust wouldn't be a problem.

Those are two completely different verses. - I for one am giddy and up about both those verses!!!!
