Ok so the theme of the gushing pretty much went along the lines of obsessing about Alex in general and your version of her in particular and just how much the Elliot reminded me of FFM.
So there are obviously bits that I get now that I didn't really understand the first time but I just thought it was a self-contained little world that was not explaining every little thing about itself and I was fine with that.
There were clothes strewn all over her bedroom. I feel ya Olivia - I do that all the time cause even though I have decided in advance, I tend to end up hating what I am wearing.
“Well…that might’ve been an idea a couple of days ago, but if I call now it’ll look like I’m running around at the last minute panicking about what to wear.”
“When obviously that isn’t the case,” Kathy stated, dryly.
“Not helping! - Hee!!!!!!!!
“I will. Oh, and I hope you know that he’s going to be thinking about you all night, he keeps getting this faraway look on his face. Apparently your Alex is quite a looker.” Love this for two reason - that is so FFM and Alex = 'looker' = me smiling.
She rolled her eyes, Alex would be the punctual type. Just more for me to love about Alex.
Olivia closed her eyes and found her body reacting to the unique timbre, as it always did. Miss March really does have the most amazing voice.
Alex’s eyes seemed darker than usual, now that she was finally looking into them.
I won’t have it said that my Detectives are easy. - but let's face it, most people would be easy when it came to Alex.
“Italian, actually." I heart Alex and I heart everything about the FFM version of Elliot outside of the door - “He’s definitely picturing it right now.”
