I read the books after the first season, so all of the first season characters are exactly as they are onscreen, and the rest I have invented in my head. Except for Asha Greyjoy, who was Bridget Regan.
I WAS TOTALLY TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY'VE REVEALED MARGAERY'S CUNNING FAR TOO EARLY!!! In the books, she was presented as lovely and jolly and nice. It's only later you realise she's just as ambitious and cunning as Cersei, and probably better at it. I think it would've been great to do that on TV, for at least a little while longer. Now everyone knows that she's a social climber, it takes away some of the fun.
Oh, I knew you weren't saying that they weren't kickass. I was just agreeing with you. Kahlan is awesome in 2.22. I think she's the best 'confessed' person ever. However, my own personal favourite scene in that ep belongs to lovely little Cara and her inability to shoot Kahlan with an arrow. I swear, the first time I saw that, I almost fell off my chair with squeeing.
I should admit upfront that I know precisely nothing about sport and any sporting references will go over my head. I will concede to you calling it 'soccer' if you must. But I will not. I like R&I too. And a bajillion other things. My tumblr is a mish-mash of whatever is giving me feelings at any given time. My LJ used to serve that function, but I don't post so much here anymore.
