It just seems normal to me - what day is your cinema release day? - Cinema releases come out on a Friday. DVD releases (and CD releases) come out on a Monday. That is sensible. Friday so that people can go out at the weekend and Monday so that they can sell as much as possible to get as high up the charts as they can. Wednesday is just...strange.
