I heart Alex, I love that she has the Troop Beverly Hills version of roughing it! - Alex is completely ME in this fic. I have never Mary-Sue'd a character as much as this. I have spoken these sentences and had these arguments. I am not an outdoors person.
getting a car with GPS saved his marriage - Directions and navigation have probably broken up their fair share of relationships. I am not allowed to direct people. People have been known to draw an 'L' and an 'R' on my hands while I'm directing (or driving and being directed). Yes, I'm that bad.
Also am still loving Elliot - Since you said he reminded you of FFM in these fics I have loved him more and more. Now I want to marry him.
My fav line - total prose love!!! - That's probably the only line of prose in the whole fic. But as someone who suffers regularly from pins 'n' needles, I kinda like it myself.
Is that country music?” Now that, missy, I am not so sure about - Actually, this was a conscious decision (and not because she was being me in this fic). Every fic I have read which mentions Alex's musical tastes has her liking Jazz or Classical music. I wanted to go against the norm and also show the world that country fans come in all shapes and sizes. We are not all republican, redneck southerners. People are often very surprised to find out that I am a country fan. So this is why I chose that direction.
I adored the declarations of fucking love!!!!!!!!!! - Well, I knew they were going to have to say it at some point, and I didn't want it to be all soppy (although, Liv does seem to insist on getting soppy from time to time) and we know how I like to embrace 'fuck' :)
the fact that Alex had no problems with the thought that they would be together and have grandchildren - Alex obviously knows that it's me who is writing this fic and therefore there will be a happy ending no matter what. (Loss be damned!!!)
