Yay!! I'm glad it's not just me. I blame the writing of the show entirely. The writing is awful. A skilled writer would've been able to make us believe that there was serious competition - they wouldn't have made Ivy quite so perfect for the role, and they'd have made Karen work harder. Then I might have cared more about Karen.
