This is the first Callisto/Gabrielle (and I don't even ship them to be honest), but I really enjoyed this. It was a really great, dark possibility between what could have happened between them.

(I know you wrote this a while ago, but I would truly appreciate a Xena/Gabrielle post!Callisto sequel, where Gabrielle does doubt her a bit and then Xena kills all those doubt by being the best girlfriend ever.)
